Each update makes this game suck just a little more

I appreciate updates have to be done but................

Why does each update have to screw something else over?

first major update was the crappy sound updates, and now I've just updated and lost all my save keyboard setups - Frontier Devs I'm not happy!!!!

Perhaps writing your points a little more constructively would get a response and some suggestions to help your keyboard issue. Manners maketh man.

Frustrating as that is.. Im doubtfull the patch is to blame directly, if there is anything the game considers to be corrupt/unreadable/faulty when loading up local settings it uses fallback presets from the main installation folder to replace the local problematic user file.. 'Custom' is a preset canvass, Its definately worth going into the user binds folder and taking a copy of 'custom' once you have it set up, and then rename it to whatever you fancy, that can be selected in your game options interface and will remain persistant for you. File can be found -

C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

*If this is something you already are aware of and had already done, and still had this issue, i appologise for any assumption and missunderstanding. But to be fair, there are far better ways to discuss the issue, and really no nead for the capitalised outburst.

Go play a different game, if the game's bugs drive you to this level of hate and sophomoric behavior. I am having a freaking blast. I have had almost zero issues from the last series of patches. DEVS U R AWESOME!!!!

I dunno. My buddy and I think the same thing. Updates have mostly been fixing out the fun. Maybe if these wings promises come true then FD can build back some respect from their player base.

But I can understand the intent of the post. A number of the updates have changed the game in ways some folks don't like, or they have introduced bugs that are severe for some. I'd be frustrated too.

Perhaps I'm just lucky, but...

I've never had a problem with keybindings
I've never had a problem with controller settings
I've never had a problem logging in
I've never had a problem with d/l speeds
I've never had a problem....

Ah, you see where I'm going with this

To the OP - if this minor little niggle is enough to get you to rant, god help you if you have a major problem, we'll all be reading the next "I lost my ship and didn't have insurance - I QUIT" thread.
