Hi guys,

Just a friendly reminder that we're under the new forum rules from today.

I think I've already seen one poster get banned for a week and all his posts will be reviewed for the next 4 months because he said:

This was seen as employee harassment according to the mod that moderated the thread, which gives you 8 infraction points (if they were applied).

I'm not contesting or questioning anything, but it looks like the mods are going to be pretty zealous with these new rules. So, watch what you say guys

Don't see a problem at all with a forum's moderators applying their rules to their forum. We all have the right to post our own views in our own forums.

Good game Paranoia - always had an "Elite" feel to it by way of it being pretty chaotic, and hardcore. However, I digress - back onto topic.

Yes. However, that purchase gives us the ability to play the game for as long as it is in service. It never promised us the ability to troll, flame, rage, scream, or otherwise inflict our negativity on their forums.

The rules still very nicely allow for criticism and discussion, just not hijinks. This forum is a privilege not a purchased right.

We may agree to disagree and I respect that. You didn't flame in your argument and I'm sure it won't be deleted.

These forums existed *long* before the start of the Kickstarter.... So, no - we didn't foot the bill.

I agree with both those points.

Would you agree that we can be respectful even to those with whom we do not agree? You and I are doing so this very moment. It isn't hard, and really seems only fair.
