So BRAND new Type 9 and this happened...

Yeah, 90% of my flying with the T9 is with assist off, much more fun to fly. D7 thruster's is also a minimum for the Type-9. I get that a lot of people don't like the ship, but if you enjoy the inertia of a heavy ship it's great fun. Took me a while to master it.

I enjoy flying the Type 9 so far. Reminds me of trying to master the 747 in Microsoft Flight Simulator
Haha, that's what I love about it, you have to be way ahead of the machine, once you get it right it becomes very rewarding. Anaconda is the perfect handling ship for me. The smaller ships just feel too Arcade, with the exception of the Cobra, the also has a large amount of drift.
Totally hear you guys on the 747 reference. It does really take time to get the hand of it. Was really weird popping back into my Cobra to go and scout out a route.
Also I have replaced my fuel scoop for more cargo as I was being interdicted too many times at a star. Was mostly getting away with it, but on the odd occasion I did take damage it really hurt!
Its either that or getting bigger slot FC and that did not seem to add up...
