Any good updates since release? (sorry for asking)

Soo, I havnt been on the forums in a while, havnt played ED since week before launch...

havnt payed attention to the updates, (my game is updating atm) but I dont wanna go and fin everything xD
So I wanna ask to YOU guys who play this game everyday or atleast sometimes a week did they have some good updates?

Is there a better mission description? is there a "global" chat so you can talk to people in-game? that where my 2 main points tho.

I am not really a great "okay, we put you here now do what you want" kinda guy I need some sort of waypoints to guide me a bit till I can "walk on my own feet"

Nah, nothing like those thnings you mentioned. However, chat is far more stable now, there are commuinity goals, and lots has improved

No global chat.
A handful of missions descriptions have been fixed, otherwise mission running is the same as it ever was.

Little/no new content since (before) release. Patches have been primarily bug fixes(for bugs i've never experienced).

if you were tired of it at release, you wont find it much better now.

Well atleast its optimized better!

The Galaxy Map Route Planner is by far the best update.
Works like a champ, 1000x faster than before and upto 1000 LY jumps calculated within 1-2 Seconds... Nice

Docking Computer got some solid improvements - needs some more polish in V1.2, but on a good way. Getting much more expeditious and reliable.

Discoverers can now see who was first to discover Objects and if you're the 1st, you get a Message + Bonus (Resource Belt Clusters still count 0Cr, no "First Discovered by" on them and if you're the First discovering one... you actually get an additional 0Cr Bonus ).
Kinda odd popping Scanner in an unexplored System and see "Unexplored" right next to a Tag "Discovered First by".

Other than that... more bugs were introduced. Lots of them.
Reversed/Random Influence and/or Reputations effects from successful Missions, Mission destinations to Stations that don't even exist in the System, new System Defense Forces added to interdict Wanted Players it seems (but someone forgot to equip all of them with FSD Interdictors and Scanners *g*), super-lame/unrewarding/grindy or buggy Community Goals (you'd have to see it to believe it, truly 'a class of its own')...
The list of new stuff "not quite working as expected" is quite long, despite several hotfixes applied.

Glad they fixed docking/galaxy map, the map was such a struggle to deal with xD and missions... urgh dont get me started

well that sucks, I really wanted to give this game another shot :/ aah well... might aswell give it a try, might be able to get somewhere now atleast I got to change my HUD X)

PS I actually deleted my old safe from the launch... I didnt had any money and was lost in space xD
