Vulture available in 1.2? So three new ships altogether?

Jesus - could we please stop crying arround a simple, human error? Even if the Corvette won't come now and i understand some players anticipated its arrival, it will come - sooner or later. We get two "brand new" ships shipped out. Especially the Vulture Interior says clearly: "Me want". At least i am eager to see what those babies can do and really hope they will add some perspective to our bounty hunters and pirates

At no point has it ever been stated that backers will get to CHOOSE one of the ships, it has been stated that we will get one ship for free not that we get our choice of ship for free.
I don't expect it to be the panther clipper or federal corvette

What the hell is wrong with some of you guys, why does it seem that some people are just waiting to pounce on any misstep by FD to complain and cry because things aren't going their way, "you lied FD", "I was mis led FD", " I want compensation" waah, waah it's just going beyond a fricking joke!
Everyone is different, has different expectations, some of you haven't even had a job yet probably (def should be an age limit on these posts >21 only) so some are always going to be disappointed.
FD are doing their best to make an amazing game experience nobody has tried before, give them a break man, they're human, they screw up like everyone else, if they weren't as many damn whiners on here FD may post more information.
Every time they make a post its dissected and analyzed until somebody makes something negative out of it, I'm sure im not alone in being sick to death of these comments.
Maybe it's me, I don't know, my Dad died at an early age so I quickly realised that life is full of disappointments, I Want doesn't get anything in the real world which is where I live.
I love this game as incomplete as it is and don't get upset or impatient because I trust FD will get it right.
Please guys lay off and let them do their jobs and just maybe you'll get your rewards

Seems to be the other way around actually. Only one guy (someone who did not actually know what "compensation" means evidently) here made the "mistake" of sounding disappointed, and a whole lot of people "pounced" on him and drove him out of the thread.
Though personally, I was waiting to "pounce" on a white-knight comment like yours.
Ok so you waited for a white knight post, what exactly was you waiting for. All you said above was "I am waiting". To do what? pick a daisy? polish a thruster? no one has been driven out the thread and as for them not knowing what compensation means how come they used it in the correct context then?

Personally I kind of like the format and look forward to reading them.
as another youtuber I REALLY like that they sponsor us content creators by driving traffic to our videos.
maybe that's why I read them though, as I would liberate a thousand imperial slaves to have one of my videos mentioned.
the day at the Royal Air Force kind of stuck me as odd though. Interesting but odd.
We have been given a clear.. this is what we are putting in 1.2.. why some folk cant just accept that and smile is beyond me. As for picking at the guys day out with the RAF.. come on, really? they were invited, it was pretty damn cool, and deserving of the mention and the thank you. i guess some folks dont quite understand the value in that.. but then, those some folks probably arnt happy unless they are letting us know, they arnt happy!
Exactly. Well said. It's so common these days for people to complain and whine about the slightest thing. I'm seriously considering just leaving the forums, only visiting to keep up to date with updates and patches. I'm just getting so fed up with people on here having nothing good to say about what is, in my opinion, the best game ever released.
I am madly saving for the vulture and FDL with 44M Cr in the bank now and ships worth 38M (top spec Viper, Asp and T7). I was hoping that the Vulture was going to be a higher spec replacement for the Viper so was hoping for 1 or 2 Large hard points and 2 or 3 medium and expected it to be about Asp price. I would be disappointed with just 2 hard points even if they are large. I will still try it and maybe try one large beam and one large cannon but even 2 large and 2 small would be better than just 2! I've no idea what to expect over the FDL but would think maybe something like the Asp but faster with possibly even better range - maybe size 6 power, thrust and FSD would give us 30Ly range and the highest top speed and I would settle for the same weapons load out but maybe 1 large, 2 medium and 2 small would be even better.
It would be nice for 1 or 2 new ships per point upgrade but I suppose that would also depend on what else is in that upgrade..... One of the upcoming upgrades might have a smaller game change but more ships I certainly want an upgrade giving docking bay capabilities to the largest ships.

To me it looks like FDL will be somewhat similar to the Orca. A nice ship for role-playing certain stuff, but surpassed in every "game-relevant" aspect by other ships.
Compensation? compensation for farming the "credits enough to buy the corvette" i presume.
For the ones guessing how vulture will look, just compare the cockpit we have seen to the cockpit shown on the concept art of "the hunter" rumored ship on the wiki ... And guess what ? It fits exactly
So I would put a 100 bucks on it : upcoming vulture is what we saw as the hunter concept art, wich would make it a ship sized like a small ASP.

you do realize there is going to be a capital ship expansion right? So i highly doubt this will be the biggest. There is still a destroyer, frigate and carrier classes that we haven't seen yet.

Except the Hunter is the Imperial Fighter in game.

How'd you come to that conclusion?
I can say for a FACT that the newsletter that was published whilst I was at Gamescom was being written behind me Friday afternoon as I was demoing to the press, but this is by the by.
My point being that everyone here should be sticking to facts and stop attacking each other personally, thank you.
