Call The Midwife on BBC1 followed by Mr Selfridge on ITV - Sunday PM

Mine doesn't watch that sort of crap. We've just completed the full set of Stargate. SG-1, then Atlantis and tonight the last few episodes of Universe. We're moving on to Battlestar Galactica next. Or maybe a second viewing of Firefly.
I've got a good one. :)

Oh, and she hasn't objected one bit to the 150 hours plus (conservative estimate) that I've played E: D since I got it half way through January

Honestly - there's never been a better time for dutiful husbands to slip away un-noticed and get some quality ED time - whilst the JPO (Joy Prevention Officer) is engrossed in these period dramas.

Get all your rares / grinding and intersteller punch ups in NOW !!!!

Smeg that i'm watching Top Gear :D

Guess I'm either the lucky one, or the odd fish in the barrel...

Fired the JPO last summer after detecting some interstellar anomalies.
This means I can define my own time as I see fit, without having to worry about untimely interruptions ;)

Still, kudos for the thought

I managed to play almost solidly today from about 9am through till 6pm only stopping for food and drink and to jettison waste product.

There's no way I'd miss Top Gear after that monumental effort.

Is this a good time to come out of the closet and admit that im watching "Mr Selfridge" with my lady? ;)

I'm shocked!!!!!!!!. At least you could have done what I do and record it for later.....lol, "Cant believe Harrys been suckered by that red head" lol......
Oh and for the USA JPO's I would have said put "Man v Food" on but that would probably have you BOTH glued to the TV... cough,cough...

Giant external hd full of complete Grey's Anatomy (11 seasons), Desperate Housewives, S*x and the City, Devious Maids and as an icing on the cake - Orange is the New Black.

Just place it on the table anywhere near the missus, her instincts will kick in automatically. You'll have all the gaming time you want.

Both of us watch Downton. We miss Isis. :(

Waiting for Sherlock.

She understands having to land a ship with 7% hull, and a (mostly) missing canopy, running out of O2. :)

Same here only it's a Sky+ full of stuff. We time-shift everything as we have a toddler, when my missus says "do you mind if I watch Supernatural?" I say "go for it!" grab some snacks and retreat to the man-cave to fly my space truck in relative peace.

Funny. Call the Midwife indeed got me some unplanned extra game time last night.

Good call.

Well if your under the thumb, the op's suggestion is great, but if you live in an equal relationship where you both care about one another's free time being important to your mental well being, then it's irrelevant.
