If you don't want to explain it, don't. I think it's a great word. And yes, I am on here a lot now but I was a new member once. I certainly was when I first encountered it and yet I managed to cope.That's because you spend half your life on the forums now!

Fair enough, I think it sounds utterly lame. It sounds like a little kiddy word (like calling a cow a moo-moo)... the main reason I'd like to see it die is so it doesn't make it into the game itself. I can just imagine you cool kids all saying "yeah I'm jontying from a sidewinder to an Mk3"... and it just sounds naff, that's all.
Please, let's not have this discussion in this thread. But I think you are little too late on your wish. It will be in game. It won't be used a lot though, because only part of KS backers know context.

First I would like to hear this Jonty person give his permission to use his name like this. He might not like it so much. Although it is in no means derogatory or meant negative in any way, it can be...a little much...perhaps...to have your name used so prominently. It is not a 'Leroy Jenkins'. But still.
But in principle it is part of our lore now and I think that is no bad thing. What are humans, you need to ask, if not builders of communities? That is what we do. And with communities comes language or slang. That is what happens and gives character to the community.
