In that pic, you can take out the question mark from Python.
And that 2nd from right at the bottom isn't Fer De Lance, it is the Federal Corvette.
Isn't that "Freighter 3" the Lakon Type 7?
Plus: between Viper & Cobra is the Adder.
The other one with three question marks is Vulture.

I know what all those ships are. I just lifted this picture from elsewhere on theforum. The one with the 3 question marks is not the vulture. If you look at the latest picture from the newsletter on Friday you will see the targetted ship in the cockpit and this shows the build of the vulture. The vulture is not the ship in this picture. I believe the one here is based on the puma clipper as shown in the second picture.

The pilot flying this ship is flying a vulture. You can see its shape in the hologram. The ship in the above picture is not a vulture.
I wouldn't hold too much on comparing FE2/FFE ships with ED ships. For me only the Sidewinder, Eagle and Cobra match the FE2/FFE designs.
Also don't compare the ships we have now to early concept designs, obviously these change during development.
Those ships shown in that ED picture are EXACTLY what we have now. None of them are early designs.

Bottom left corner is the Vulture, as confirmed by the last newsletter. See the screenshot posted above by orfeboy.
Missing on the picture are the Imperial Clipper, Anaconda, the Type 6, Type 7 and Type 9 and the Fer de Lance... so not a very comprehensive list.

I agree completely, the size is wrong but the shape is not. Many of the ships have gone up and down in size throughout the various games. The Asp for example used to be the same size as the Cobra and the viper is now way bigger than it was in the original Elite. It shoud be the same size as an Eagle!
I didn't say he had compared them to early concept designs .... all I said was don't compare them to early concept designs.
If you look at the wings of the ship in the newsletter picture they are flat and square with the rear of the ship. The old pre Beta picture does not show this. There are curves at the rear of that ship. They do not match. I do not believe this is the vulture. The one in the new newsletter picture hologram is.

But the point I am making is that they are NOT early concept designs. Which of any of those ships in that picture are different from the ones we have now? Why do we have any reason to believe this tripple ??? ship is somehow the odd man out and is an early concept design? This ship does not match the hologram in the new newsletter picture. I am just saying I think it is something else and that the closest shap is the puma clipper shown above in all but size.

It has two sets of wings, one above the main thrusters, one below. Exactly like the ship in the bottom left corner, if you take a closer look at it. Also, the size matches for a heavy fighter. It might not look like an absolute exact match, but then again: Small tweaks in the design from concept to implementation in game can occur.
Yeah, I am sure you are right and it probably is the vulture but I still say those two pictures don't match.
And the point I was making was that I wasn't saying you or anyone had compared anything to early concept designs, I was merely saying don't compare them ... is that so had to understand?
Scales are way off. The Anaconda vs the Type 7??? I don't think so!
