I, for one, salute our Goonswarm content creator overlords for their contributions all across various gaming communities, especially the one where just mentioning their name is enough to boil the blood of so many pubbies.

This is certainly nothing the main group of Goons playing ED has anything to do with.

because you know.. we are all exactly alike in every way. Ugh yup back to GRR GOONS again. welp ok just figured we'd warn people is all. Because that makes ANY sense if we are the ones behind it. Truly a masterstroke of intelligent metagaming and all. Hell I'm in awe of our magnificent plan. You certainly caught us with our pants down unexpectedly.

I was not aware frogs wear pants!

I am aware that there are apparently a lot of really judgemental people around here though. I thought I was bad for that sometimes but this is a bit Megacity One even for me. I hope that the villagers haven't pitchforked you into becoming the thing they fear, no matter how much that would serve them right.

heh at this point i usually stay off here pretty much unless i have to. But us becoming the bad guys of this game would be soo predictable. We'll leave that for all the ARRPEEEINNG wannabe pirates.

WELL.

Apparently some very clever and original people (That is sarcasm) think its nifty to go invade other people's voice channels and act foolishly and then claim themselves as goons.

These arent our goons.

Not sure whom it is at this point really. Goons really don't do diplomacy in a horde. so if you get 5-7 GOONS all in your servers, just kick em all. I tend to ask and have an invitation before logging into a new teamspeak or something.

Just a friendly warning.

TL/DR:

Cowards claiming to be goons are invading voice servers.

Goons? please tell me you aren't affiliated with Goonswarm... although, saying that. I used to fly with GS, so I can't say too much.

There are former swarm folks around sure, but thats the eve group which is a bit more super serious than this one. Same forums though.

Wait, so you are goons from SA forums, but you want to warn us of annoying people doing TS raids and being jerks and are getting upset that you might not be taken seriously? Irony.

Oh, and being a sneaky frog, does that mean you are a cloakie Caldari Militia?

The SA forums are somewhat big. There are definitely some people that have done some really dumb crap. We try not to do stupid unfunny crap. I mean we as in the Elite Dangerous crew. Cant speak for anyone else really. As everyone is utterly determined to hate us anyway I dont know why I even bother, but hey maybe we just dont want to have some unoriginal, unfunny stupid crap done in our "name".

Thats all.

That's fair enough fella. There were plenty of decent lads in goons, separate from the knobs. Had some fun times in Delve & Querious, slapping IT around. Clean slate n all that... I might actually give you lads a shout at some stage, could be fun.

Yeah messing around with people's Teamspeak is so not our style though, it is just dull and annoying.
We are here for fun times believe it or not, any annoyances we cause will be on the battlefield, we don't infringe on peoples stuff outside the game unless invited.
