#elitedangerous is an established channel (no, not a hashtag) on FreeNode IRC. Come hangout. . . like from work or whatever when you can't be playing ED, for some slightly more realtime ED discussion.

I used to sit on both channels using Trillion 2 years ago whilst the Kickstarter was running.

ETA: Also sat on the official #alt.fan.elite channel that has been around for over 15 years.

Well, FreeNode is actually the largest IRC network. . . and it's not even my favorite.

Actually though, we're up to 14 nicks in the channel - steadily growing. Some are finding us via this thread and some are actually just searching for Elite-related channels in-network.

Lol, 14 people. Fine, i'll stick to ~200 at quakenet, because i can set up automatic connection to TWO servers on my irc client.

I also hang out in the freenode channel, it really is a great channel. Has a handful of CMDRs currently but is growing. People should come say hi!
