Fer de Lance price on the nofficial wiki :13.8M

I outfitted mine in Beta to A-Spec and that is upwards of 100 million with a 100cr base price so don't let the 13 million price tag fool you: It's bloody expensive to upgrade :D

Impossible to know at the moment. And 13M for the FDL is clearly impossible, I believe his price will be set between Python and Anaconda.

Edit : the cost disappeared, I took a Screenshot in case of :)

Is that the cost thanks to the armour?

That 13mil cost makes sense if you consider the internals and size place it around the size of an Asp but with bigger hardpoints.

FDL military armor is about 200M if I remember correctly, so yes, this is why I would believe the FDL is set between Python and Anaconda.

A curious figure to pick. Feels in the right area to me based on the upgrade costs, except for the strangely overpriced armours of course.

If there is some % factor to work out rebuy cost this is what I have on a 100cr ship - standard hull with the following;

E2 cannon x 2
A4 FSD
B1 FSD Interdictor
A5 power plant
B4 cannon
A6 power dist
A4 life support
B4 sensors
A5 thrusters
A4 shield gen
A2 shield cell bank
A4 life support
A6 power dist

511,846 rebuy

I didn't work the details here but I'm almost positive that your rebuy cost (511.816 Cr) translates to exactly 0,05 times the face value of all these modules + 100 Cr (the value of your ship). Would be sort of "checkable" with elite shipyard website.

In other words, there's probably nothing to get from those informations, sadly.

On a side note, the military grade composite method works for every ship in game. So I do believe this methode to be... quite reliable. Also, the estimated prices of 20 and 100M do not seem out of place, imo. They're sort of fitting with the power/function/lore. Plus this would rationalize PvP encounters (piracy too), as risking a 20 or 100M+ stock ship is another story than throwing your Viper against anything.

Also, a "big" Cobra costs around 20M, doesn't it? So again, 20M stock price for an upgraded ship (sort of, I know a Vulture is not a multi-purpose), doesn't feel out of place. An upgraded version that appears to be a significant threat to medium ships, that is. It's all a balance of power, risks, investment... or so I think.

Well, and so on, so forth...

So my best bet is that those ships are/were indeed planned to cost 20 & 100M but the fact that FD is still reluctant to confirm this could indicate that they're still thinking about making adjustments on the final value... ?

I think you Mean 0,05. It is probably lower for someone with the beta. 0,0375 or 0,025 (probably)

However, your notion is entirely correct.

Ah man, FD are in a no-win spot with the FDL cost, which seem like a noticeable sum of the 1.2 discussion.

If it's too low people scream about OP-ness.

If it's too high people scream about grind and matinence.

I guess if nothing else, it's popular! :D
