No, Michael hasn't said much about it yet.

It is not the only official novel coming out, however. ;)

It's the most officially official of the official novels though :) But no, there's been no word from Michael. As I understand it he's been rather busy making a game :-/

Hmmm. Could this be the reason for the extended Gamma phase? To give Michael time to write a book?

Haha, no way they'd hold up the game for that. Also, Michael is very capable of producing a book in an extremely tight timeframe. I think it's just not a priority right now. Plus I think he said at LaveCon that he's writing something more on the order of length of The Dark Wheel, not a big long novel.

I could be wrong, mind, he could have finished it already and turned it into a trilogy. He might have turned it into a love epic between him and Psykokow....

It's been quiet on this front which is no bad thing for Michael. So far everyones concentrated on the game and given him peace to get on with the writing. He's published books before so he will know all about juggling his day to day job and the book.
