Chaos in Lave?!

Hmm, well despite the threats and warnings, Lave remains a pretty safe place. Spent a good few hours there last night and this morning and haven't been approached once by CODE or any other faction.

Even tried to make my Viper more attractive to pirates by cutting holes in the rear parcel shelf and dropping some JBL speakers in there. Think I might park up ate Lave station and leave the cargo door open, Bait Viper style.

Why would a pirate ever interdict a viper? Barely any cargo space.

I'm gonna fill my shieldless Type-9 to the gunnels with radioactive bio-waste and waltz in there as pretty as you please, wiggling my rear, with my finger hovering over the 'Jettison All' button. Once I have attracted the requisite amount of blowflies I'll hit the big red button. If the stench doesn't kill them all in a onner the lag most definitely will!

They attack bounty hunters too. They interdicted me in a viper.

I think there is probably not that many of them.

They don't interdict my python and it has tons of cargo space. Only one pirate in lave area has interdicted me and he is not affiliated with code. I didn't have any cargo at the time and was outfitted to fight but didn't because he is in a clipper and he would just run away. If code was to interdict me I wouldn't fight unless I had help because they only fight strong ships when they outnumber them so no doubt several will drop in on you.

I don't think it's much about piracy really. It's just that people who actually like to interact with other people in Online game happen to hang there. I'm not aligned with any of the groups there, but the best PvP matches I've had have been around Lave. Also, having a nice little piracy there might be the good salt for your game. Small change of pace for the boredom that is trading, maybe? You're kind of paying ingame money for added content to your game.

I actually flew up there to see what all the fuss was about, and on a Saturday afternoon the place was empty, seems my firewall doesn't play nice with everybody else.

Last night in Lave there was some guys in a group, I kept shooting one of them that was wanted and all the others opened fire on me, its like they were using aimbots or something.

I know that was the target - but I don't think I've ever seen more than 12 on the scanner at once - though instance is larger than scanner range..

Just as bad as the damned hacking turrets, too.

Whenever I go to Lave, there's never anyone there, and I'm in Open Play.
But then again, I live in the Pacific Time Zone, so I guess I'm SOL.
