Has anyone actually listened to station announcements?

I'm waiting to hear the following:

Male announcer: The white zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in the red zone...
haha it's not just me then...each time the lady announcer with the American accent starts talking I imagine her saying "the white zone..."

Whenever someone accidentally boosts in(to) a station

The voice on Lave sounds just like Braben. Really, I've listened several of his interviews and it sounds just like him.

I noticed this too, but if that's Braben, then where did he get the convincing Dutch accent? Or is he just a brilliant voice actor and is the Japanese voice in the Imperial stations also Braben? (BTW can someone turn up the volume for the Japanese lady? I'd like to get everything she's saying...)

Even though the Lave announcer sounds really Dutch, there is also something a little too British about him, at first I thought it was a native Dutchman who lived in the UK for 3/4 of his life and is trying really hard to talk with a Dutch accent.

My favourite is the Apu guy in anarchy stations who says they're running a wery reasonable regime and treacherous acts cannot go unpunished.

(And slightly modified for the forum rule 'no naming and shaming': treacherous acts must go unpublished).

I worked with one of the guys who did one of the voices for inside one the stations (dutch voice), he also works for FD. It's very odd docking to a voice that you know.

The Federation announcer really made me relocate to the Empire. Arriving at a Federation station somehow makes me feel just as welcome as at international US airports. It's just that they don't shoot you for loitering there - yet.

I'm led to believe that the type of announcements you get rather seems tied to the Government type...
So I'm afraid you'll get about the same stuff in the Empire ;)

According to my experience they are tied to allegiance. There seem to be just 3 announcers: The annoying lady in Federation stations, a lady with some kind of Asian accent in Empire, and a male announcer with somwhat strange dutch (sounds more eastern European to me though) accent in independent and Alliance stations.

Is there a different Anarchy announcer? I'm sure he sounds different to the Independent and Alliance one.

The Empire one is, of course, the best. Perfectly polite, yet informative; just remember to train your ears to the Imperial accent.

To the OP: I've never seen a single human being in any of the stations, so it seems quite peaceful to me.

you should get fined for vagrancy if you enter a nice starport like Irkutsk with a Type-6 just for the giggles.
That is a good idea - or maybe docking permission is tied to your wear and tear, so if you turn up to one of the swanky looking stations in a scruffy ship, you get refused!
