Chaos in Lave?!

That was probably either me or Bob.

I've met you, although your pirate hail didn't say "the CODE".
Sneakyninja and Jolli have chased me, but who's Bob?

Individual pirates are fun, but I don't like the idea of being attacked by a gang.

Every multiplayer game is the same, game comes out, cheats drive away genuine people, devs stick their head in a bucket of sand and pretend its not happening, game dies.

Enjoy your victory and spend eternity playing with yourself.

All these waco clans are the same, the leader hands out the cheats and people do what he tells them to.

This is one of the most ridiculous statements that I have read so far since the game launched...

Every is a very definitive statement. Do you mean some? There has without doubt some games that are plagued with cheats, some have even been driven to the wall, however it is some, not every.

Also if you use the search function for this forum, you will find that there has been some posts on cheating and hacks, the overwelming evidence so far is that while there is some capability to exploit and hack ED it is neither being ignored by the Dev or is that is is having an overwhelming affect of the game for other players...

I dont expect the FD to publish what there doing to combat this problem, a problem which which some on-line games have, to some degree or other, but if you use google you will find that most of the so called offers of hacks, are rather scams to get those stupid enough to use those kind of things money / credit card details and also that those who frequent hacking forums are also not so happy with some of of the things FD are doing, to combat there actions...

code sucks.....they are only strong in numbers and as soon you catch one for a 1on1 they run immediately because they just suck in a fair fight
thats the reason they only fly fast ships

If you find yourself in a fair fight then you haven't prepared well enough. Official Code motto.

When I go fishing I always catch something.

Lave is such a beautiful place this time of year. Will come tonight to see what the fuzz is all about. Look out for the T6 ship "The Greasy Slipper".

Lavian Brandy here I come.

Teamwork != cheating.

I for one welcome our code brethren.

Not cheating at all. It is cowardly to 4v1 though. From what i have seen at least a few of them admit it. As long as they wear the coward badge proudly i have no issue with them other than they are running off most of the traders and lone wolf players to solo.

It's not cowardly, it's tactical. If you know they are doing it, flying on your own is just a bad move.

According to FD lone wolf has a place in the game. Teams should not gang up on a single player Unless it is several small ships against say an anaconda. 4 clippers against a single ship is cowardly any way you look at it.

There is no rule about not ganging up on a solo player, nor is it in violation of the EULA. Pirates gotta earn.

Says who? I'm sorry, is there an Elite: Dangerous rulebook somewhere which says "You must always engage other players on equal terms." ? I must have missed it.

4 Clippers isn't cowardly. It's dominant.

If you can't handle it, then move on, or at least make some form of arrangement with those who are playing the dominant role in whatever system you decided to be a lone wolf in.

It might be "dominant", but it is counter-productive, due to the fact that the traders will solo out of there and you'll be left with lots of empty space and time to reconsider your "strategy".

I agree that there are no rules against 4 vs1 but to suggest grouping up in teams of 4 and attacking a lone pilot will result in higher profits is nonsense.

Its tough enough to earn credits from a 1v1 piracy encounter let alone sharing the dropped loot between 4 players.

Keep telling yourself that it isnt while the rest of us laugh that you are too weak to take anyone on by yourself. Lol

I don't do it. I trade on the outskirts of civilized space. Your laughter falls on deaf (but very affluent) ears.

I'm just pointing out your position is one of a crybaby.

Go get some muscle or move on.

In all seriousness, where is the line drawn for "fair game"? Is it acceptable to engage a sidewinder in a viper, or is it disgustingly unfair? Is it fair to attack a harmless player when you yourself are of a higher rank? Is it fair to attack an default sidewinder with an A-grade sidewinder?

Im not crying at all just stating it as i see it. I spent hours several evenings trying to get them to try it on me yet they didnt. They only did it to defenseless weak ships.

Smart move. A trade will also be better off taking his goods to a station where he know he will gain profit from selling them instead of heading off to a random location hoping he will be lucky with the local market.

Choosing your fights and fighting on your own conditions are counting towards skill IMO. it's not direct combat skills, but tactical skills.

I never said i didnt have friends to fly with did I? All i did was call gankers who pick on lone wolfs cowards which they are.
