Comms panel?

not if your cursor is in the typing field at the bottom, you have to hit esc to take it out of typing mode firt or tab across to a different panel then press 2, also I think there was a late change to the comms panel in beta 1.2 4 that put an option in the controls menu for a toggle for different controllers but never got to test that bit

Yup ...

  • Options > Controls
  • Scroll down to Mode Switches
  • Auto Focus on Text Input Field - OFF

Now when opening the comms menu the text entry area is not active.

Thanks that fixed it. Pity you cannot see what human players are in system anymore. It was always reassuring to hit '2' and check for human condas.
 
Yeah. I'd like to see something in the contacts panel that differentiates between NPC and human players. We can see them on the scanner, but you don't know until you've scanned them which contact they are.

Agree, it was a very useful feature to hit '2' and see what company you had.
