Good job giving the 1% another toy to play with while T-9 grinding

Viper - Cobra - ASP price range needs more variety. I don't care if you make 1000 new 100.000.000 Cr ships in 1.3 give me something that I can actually buy without having to spend my time grinding like I'm playing some MMORPG.

He's got a point

They really needed to fill the gaps in the low-mid, and midrange of the ship roster.

We had enough high and ultra-high end ships already.

Hey its great to have more ships .. period, but I completely agree. Any player not heavily playing the game really has so little choices.

Seems the updates are catering for those grinding traders who have 100s of millions free to burn. It will be years at the rate I am going! Atleast they will have something new to play with, just wish there was some ship in the patch I might get to fly sometime soon. :(

that's the whole fun of the game... grinding until your fingers fall off, feeling the burn, like you earned ever square centimeter of that ship. Only then will you ever truly appreciate this video game. IF you *don't* do that, well, you're pretty much just cheating, and may as well just go play something else :)

They're trying to bring in too many of the "cool" ships they think people would want the most, rather than the kind of ships we need to balance out the roster right at this moment.

I mean, I do mostly bunting hunting and I can afford an asp. I'm going out exploring now and should come back with enough to afford the vulture (albeit, without the funds to properly outfit it.) I agree there should be more variety below the 30 mil mark, but there are attainable ships above the cobra.

I came here to make this thread but it already exists. +1 OP, well done.

The lack of affordable ships after the Cobra is terrible. Most people cannot afford to play many hours a day to grind through trading to buy ships. The Asp is a massive jump from the Cobra, especially if you only have an hour or two per day to play. The current level of trading required to achieve any of the interesting ships is horrendous for the average man in the street with a job and a family especially given the extremely low rewards of any option other than volume trading.

Was going to write something about the instant gratification generation. ;)
But I won't.
There's enough said about that, elsewhere.

I bounty hunted around USSs last night, and made a lot of credits.
Didn't take long, either. You'd have a Vulture in no time.

You are playing MMO, actually. While trading really is a boring grind, what did you expect? To get free ships in communist systems because you really want to fly them?

The point is that new players have to stick for weeks or months with the cobras , vipers and Type 6.
I am playing since last June and i dont have a problem . But many of my friends they are new and most of them already tired.
The gaps between the ships are too big and thats a design mistake. And i dont think that the upcomimg 8 ships will fill these gaps.
