personalized HUD doesn't work anymore

now that I decided to play again, after upgrading i noticed the old .xml tweak for the personalized HUD doesn't work anymore.

when the original GraphicsConfiguration.xml is in place everything runs ok, but when i apply my saved modified .xml this happens

why WHY? after the tweak the devs did to the HUD light bleed to match the color we chose, even the ambient illumination in the ships, why take it away?

Did you replace the whole file with an older one? If you did, I'd advise to get back the latest file, edit it and replace ONLY the three lines that change the HUD color. Because, to me at least, the HUD customization still works perfectly.
