92cr gas in 1.2- cool...... 450,000 fine UH?

OK, I do a jump that cost 1kcr before 1.2 and I fillup after patch and it's 92cr... cool. Then I head to the NB get a few bounties, come back to the local homeport to fill up on gold and UH???, I've got a 300k fine for doing nothing wrong! Been playing a while and was very careful to not shoot at anything not wanted and even do a full KWS scan on every one first. But OK, maybe I screwed up somewhere, but who's mother did I kill to get that kind of fine?

So I get a couple missions and do nothing but do a jump and land at first port and check my screen for how many items I was supposed to get and UH?????, another 150kcr fine! No interdiction, no exit notice, I did not even see another NPC!

Since I started this game, I got maybe 5 or 6 fines, mainly in the beginning while learning, and nothing more than 10 or 20k. What the h___ happened to the fine structure in 1.2?

Yep, that fine was to balance bounty hunters cr gain. You see before the patch a player bounty hunter had no reason to hunt player pirates because they very easily pay their bounty's and run around as legit pirates that cannot be attacked without help from the law.

and i hope that ppl on the friendlist cant claim the bounties. .... and if they leave the friendlist they cant claim the bounty until 2 or 3 days are gone. that would be nice....

I got two bounties and wanted status by frameshifting into a friendly system with a hold full of Palladium the other day, obviously with hardpoints retracted. Almost instant interdiction, and system security vessels pew pewing at me. There's a bug still out there that can randomly slap you with dodgy legal status for no reason.. I'm not sure what the common factors to trigger it are yet, though.

...also, how come the system authority vessels never turn up that quickly when I am being attacked? :)

Sounds like underpaid police officers trying to make an extra buck to me :p
