Has this not worked for anyone yet? Ive only tried it locally, and it seems to be behaving.
If it works correctly, it doesn't need a peer, it takes it from dropbox.

Sounds like a false positive.....what virus software do you use...Trust me its fine
AVG.. It talked about 'behavioral' warning but wasn't reporting something specific or a known exploit
Nothing personal but I removed it.. better safe than sorry is my motto.

I think it was the cough either side, with the implication that it might be somehow shady. After all, that's how the media seems to see BitTorrent these days.If you read his comment again he's actually saying to use torrents

We do have an awesome crew of people in this community. I might speak really strongly and **** people off from time to time but it all comes from good intentions and a real love for the Elite universe. I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one who is fanatical about Elite.

I used to use AVG but it was getting a little to overprotective for my liking...It seemed most Emulation software would give virus warnings and even some programs I bought so I changed to the "Avast Free" and that seems much better...
Yes you can extract the ISO with WinRAR and use the installer to install it if you prefer....It does run better installed to be honest and because its on your HDD it insures the save games all save as well
Perhaps the next version should be a choice of iso or install version rather than combined ?
What do you think ?

I downloaded from the originally posted link - took about 5 hours for me - but I have it now - have burnt in onto DVD - but cannot try till I get home, which will be around 12 hrs from now

It's good to have all the games in one easy to use package. It's also handy to have all the videos, etc to show my mates when needed. I definitely will be spending some time on this tonight.

I'm having ago at downloading the original file and if I don't disturb it too much it should take a couple of hours.
