Cheap non-trade ships soon.

OK so I heard that devs are going to make non-trade ships cheaper soon, does that mean the Military grade plating prices will also go down? because I recently bought a Military grade plating for my Fer De Lance worth 90 million, I was wondering if I should just sell it and buy it again when ship prices go down it will be cheaper that way and I might end up saving millions, what do you guys think about this.


Or should I just sell whole ship and buy everything when they make it cheaper, I don't know how much prices are they gonna cut.

Found it... it's in the latest dev update.

He doesn't say anything about pricing for combat upgrades, only about the cost of the ships themselves. That's not to say they WON'T rebalance the upgrades, only that there's no info right now.

I'm glad they're looking into the balance between trades and I agree that some of the ship prices are way out there, but I hope they focus more on the idea of making other trades more full and profitable, rather than just making combat ships cheaper and nerfing trade and calling it balance.

I'm only concerned for the price of military grade plating since I'm sure if ship price goes down plating cost will go down also, it's obvious since plating prices vary greatly by the ship price unlike other modules which are fixed for all ships, other modules will probably remain the same.

I disagree... I believe the plating price varies by ship type as they're selling plating "by the ton", as it were. Bigger ship, more plating required, more expensive. A shield generator of a given size and class is the same price regardless of what ship you put it into though BECAUSE it's the same.

They may lower the "price per ton", but I think it'll still have different prices for different ships.
