Newcomer / Intro how to filter map to show only high t ech systems.....

I thought I knew how to do this but when I go to map..set pop tomin medium and max to top...click show trade routes and unclick all squares but technology... nothing shows up[. I am at cuachini and it is a tech world, um I think, and even it does not show. what am I doing wrong here?

In the section above there is a set of options to filter. You can choose Gov, economy, population and some other options. You want economy. You don't need the trade routes bit.

thx. I checked economy and high tech. I am in kovantani. nothing is showing on the map. I must still have something wrong

Try reducing the min population first, put all of the trade darmra squares back in then see what it looks like.

Population filter too high? Both Cuachini and 32 Mu Serpentis are quite small, and they are the only High Techs in the hood.

Just a quick tip, you do not have to click each square to toggle. You can hold mouse button down and slide over them.

yes that was it. however, and I know I should st art new post but will risk asking here. I flew to 32 serpentis and was approaching station. all of sudden I was wanted and police shooting me up. Is t his related to t he new update fix that is going on now or did I do something?

Illegal cargo, maybe, or possibly "stolen" goods (I.E. scooped items that weren't abandoned)?

empty cargo. finally just let them kill me so wanted would go away. sorta like the 13000+ fine I got few weeks ago for no apparent reason. another 12000cr one for late delivery of 1200cr bulliton board mission. think they have changed that somewhat with 1.2 but not sure. thx for reply
