[INDEPENDENT] Dedicated Private MOBIUS PVE Groups for the PC, PS4, XBOX with over 50,000 Commanders.

CMDR The Natoorat reporting for duty.

I don't really like combat, and I abhor PvP. I spend all my time in Solo, but this group sounds like fun! I will send a request in a few minutes.
If you encounter a battered T6 slowly ploughing through the blackness of space, that's me (unless I'll make enough for an Asp)!

See you out there, commanders!

Just found out about this group. Been playing a couple of weeks, and this is exactly the type of group my wife needed to decide to play the game (we're both pretty hardcore lowsec pilots in Eve, not interested in piracy in this game at all). My best friend and son will also be joining up at some point.

Pilot: AngryGames

Will go register on the other forum now, and thanks!

Word of warning, there is a player flying around Diso in an Anaconda killing fellow commanders. He killed my old man twice last night, not sure if he got his name or not though.
He wasn't in a conflict zone or anything like that, he was doing a rare trade run.

If you're killed by another cmdr, you always get a "killscreen" telling you who killed you. Report him to the mods on the Mobius forum.

For those who don't know, the Mobius forum Globusdiablo mentions is http://elitepve.com. Also, please make a screenshot of that "killscreen" (by pressing F10) and attach it to your report. The offender will be banned more quickly, if you do.

Yikes! - I saw a player-piloted 'Conda in Diso at around 10pm UK time last night... (didn't catch the name either)

Luckily for me I still treat unknown CMDRs with caution, even here. Never know when you might get a rogue one.

Played Elite way back when on the C-64 and now playing Dangerous with my son. This group sounds like a great way for us to play Elite and be able to interact with others too without the harassment in open. Requests sent. :)

Could I ask players to please try and fly a bit more carefully and considerately when entering and exiting stations, especially in busy systems like Lave and Leesti etc.

It is generally considered good form to enter and exit stations via the green channels. Kind of obvious really, but the amount of idiots I've had near misses with as they've charged in full thrust head on at me as I've been flying through the green side has made me feel like I've had to say something about it. Perhaps some of these people don't drive in real life and haven't yet grasped the concept of stop and go lights.

Only tonight I've had a very close call with some guy in his Cobra and his mate in a T6 speeding out the station straight at me as I was heading in through the green channel. I had to put the brakes on and pull up out of the way, almost skimming the station.

Next time I'm just going to say stuff it and meet the next chump head on and screw the costs.

It might be a PvE group, but death by speeding idiot is still a very real possibility. Bloody boy racers!

totally understand and these are wise words, but I will admit that the scanner really gives a false impression of how close other players are, and much of the time when taking off scanners don't come into play until its to late, but as you say commanders need to be careful when entering or exiting a station when other commanders are near by.

Ah yes. The wonders of the boost button. Seen it alot. They boost out, and some boost in as well, crashing into the back of the port. :)

I don't mind it though. It just reminds me that space truly is a dangerous place, and that I should stay on my toes.

Fly safe :)

Just what I've been looking for and about ready to move on from Solo with just 3 ships and 500k.
Clearly a lot of time and effort has been invested in Mobius, impressive !

As Mobius said, when leaving a station, check your scanner for a hollow blip. If you see one then fly carefully - otherwise feel free to boost out of there!

I'm flying a Type 9 currently and lazily dock with the docking computer but am always slightly nervous when I see a hollow blip.

I've sent a request. I've only played open before and even though I didn't have any unpleasant encounters I'd like to try out a dedicated PvE group. It'd be nice to try out what 1.2 really brings to the game without a flock of birds of prey on my a#$e

On this point - the devs confirmed some time ago that the lights were never intended to be used that way, hence why npcs and auto dock don't use it that way. So, a bit harsh to call the people idiots for not using them that way. People should take care, for their own benefit, but ultimately it's down to each individual to pick their moment and hope a reckless (let's call them that rather then calling them an idiot) driver isn't going to interfere.
