Lack of progress update emails/Videos?

Hi,

Is it just me, or has there been very little progress updates since the last video? I used to get emails now and again about where the state of the game is, but there's been not a lot about recently.

I guess it's because they are trying to rush out the alpha that any updates to the community has been neglected?

Edit: Basically, I'm hungry needing more info about where things are. Forums are mainly full of speculation at the moment, and that's too intangible for me Hard facts are good!

Essentially, yes. There has been some activity on the forums, but in general they seem to be on lockdown mode as they get the alpha ready. I'm perfectly happy with that, myself

you too feel it's too quiet to be normal, well that's the calm before the storm, a huge wave is coming, some call it Alpha, it's gonna eat/hit many of us in a few more weeks. oh yes, i know how it sounds like when it approaches : "soooOOOOOOooon" !

It's being worked on, but unfortunately people needed for the video are needed for wortking on the alpha as well, but an update (with a video) will be coming.

Long held up Art Diary and attached newsletter involves people who are currently in crunch mode to deliver alpha. We also got alpha min specs this week which means that it is closing in and probably will start on 2nd December.

Also first DDF proposal after long period of silence got published yesterday. So things are improving. I don't know if any updates coming this week, but if not, then certainly next one.

Me too, I thought it was only me earlier. Well I got a slap on the wrist for even suggesting there's been a lack.

Alpha, alpha, alpha. They are obsessed with it, and they should, but please throw some leftovers for us "beggars" outside the castle gates. Winter is coming...it's getting dark...the wolves are howling...

Yes, not everyone is excited about alpha as they won't have access. Also, we have a podcast to record tonight so a newsletter would be nice!

Plenty of footage will be coming for everyone to drool over - get excited for those that could afford it by joining them on the streams and asking questions.

I feel your pain, but bear in mind in couple of weeks there is going to be ED screen shots/videos all over Youtube and up the Ying Yang and tons of feed back from Alphas.
