From what I can gather, Skype got rid of public channels with links in favour of invite only channels. What this means is that you need to be in the contact list of somebody in the channel for them to invite you in.

I set up the channel but it's not a Lave Radio channel.
Anybody in the channel can anybody else and the focus of the channel is general Elite Dangerous chat.

Picked Skype because most people have it or can get it on their phones etc.

Come in it we have cake.

If you want to be added you can add me to your Skype and I will drop you in.
