Hi Mobius,
I've applied to join your group.
Not previously been interested in the social aspect of ED as it was poorly supported but now we have wings I'd quite like to join in with others on some PvE related stuff. I have no interest in open play it seems to be a grief fest but I would like some sort of interaction with other commanders.
I mainly bounty hunt and trade, up until now solo only, no interest in PvP.
I'll pm you with my in game name.

However i must apologise for some confusion last night as i was in a CZ and killed another commander thinking it was an NPC (i know its fair game there but i wasn't provoked and i don't like to strike first) anyway my sincerest apologies if i caused any distress

you are in luck as one of the group rules is that PvP is permitted in combat zones
I throw wing invites and friend requests to all the hollows I meet (while in the Mobius group). I don't care what faction you're roleplaying, this group is awesome! It would seem that others agree.

I am certainly not into all that pvp, i find it rather annoyingly dull since it tends to be strong vs weak, totally unfair scenarios, i am honestly trying to figure out how to make a decent profit to get a viper or cobra or whatever it is that is good at bounty hunting and going around taking out pirates and basically any AI with a bounty.
When it comes to teamspeak, i never use it really, i tend to stutter alot and that causes more aggro, then cheating at a pvp competition.

I only use text comms. Keeps the chatter down. To nothing

I tried that place and its not that good at all....i think FD should have added in a feature that allows you to see which item is worth what in any station you have visited....so far, the only profitable trading route is:
buy grain at point a, travel to point b, then sell.
then
buy biowaste from point b and then return to point a and sell....thats the only profitable trip i have found, everything else tends to need you to already be semi-rich.

Was happily killing AI in contested zones in Lugh but having multiple CMDRs atack me was messing with my Chi. S'ok, I know it's allowed. Not complaining as much as posting to say why I tried the group and ended up leaving the group so I could focus on the community goal without always having to look over my shoulder or interrupt my progress. I'll probably return when not doing contested areas.

This is amazing, 5k commanders and rising. Its quickly becoming, Mobius or Open Play and nothing else! Those two options solve everything for me. PVE or PVP, no need for Solo Mode any more. Great Going. Mobius FTW
yes its beginning to look that way, but our group is something that FD doesn't want to promote.
