No idea. As long as a name and not a sentence, I'd imagine it's quite flexible. How many characters are you at right now?

my aproved station has 19 characters , it is 2 words and includes an apostrophy and a space

well my space station name comprises of

30 characters, 3 words followed by 2 words in square brackets

i posted some time ago how awesome fd are for allowing such freedom in their naming ^^

My approved station name consists of 4 words, totalling 36 characters.

I would suggest deciding on what you want your first choice to be and try submitting it. Chances are it will accepted unless it is rude or copyrighted.

It fit, waiting on approval. The small box in the web app is misleading, but has a good amount of space.

I'm still thinking of what to call mine... I had a wicked thought a week or so about calling it 'Soon' or something similar....

Brings new meaning to the phrase 'I'll see you at the Space Station soon'....
