Logitech Extreme 3d Pro +CH Throttle?

I have a logitech extreme 3d pro and I am wondering if I can just purchase a CH pro usb throttle and if it will work.

I want a dedicated throttle, but dont really feel the need to replace my joystick at the moment as it performs perfectly well.

Anyone out there currently using a set up like this? Or know if it will work? From the looks of it all of the CH products are stand alone products unlike the Saitek stuff. So it seems that they would work independant of other CH roducts.

I don't see why not. I'm using the CH throttle and stick with non ch pedals, and all is good. I also had a TM 1600 plugged that "took over" after 1.1 until they fixed it (was limiting number of input devices...all good now, I think the limit is 6).

Just bind the controls inside ED and you should be set.

No, just go to the key binding menu and bind stuff to the throttle. Elite uses the device name for keybindings internally so there is no confusion between the two devices.

Only suggestion I have is to calibrate the throttle using the tool on the disc from CH rather than the windows utility. The CH tool does a much better job.

The CH Po throttle will work wonderfully with the Logitech. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

Now, if only the Logitech had hall sensors like those in the Thrustmaster T16000M, it would be an AMAZING joystick. If the T16000M had the stick button layout of the Extreme 3D, it would be an AMAZING joystick...

I wonder if there is a mod for this?

Z...

Been using that combo for a short time myself. Works fine, but eventually I just had to few buttons. With the left hand on the throttle, the six buttons on the base of the stick are no longer useful, and the six plus hat switch just aren't enough. So in the End I went full CH, Fighterstick and pedals. At some random point in the future I will probably get the TM HOTAS Warthog along with some MFG Crosswind pedals just to see for myself which is better, TM or CH.

Ya I hear ya, I just dont have the extra funds to get another joystick atm. (see the woman unit rage) otherwise ya I would just get a whole new setup.

I am thinking about doing the same setup (I've been playing with the Logitech and a gaming keypad for my left hand.) However, the Logitech wants to yaw to the left when my hand is in a resting position. I've deadzoned it out, but that just lessens responsiveness. I'm considering the CH Fighterstick and Ch Throttle now.

The CH Throttle will work just fine with the 3D Extreme. However, if you can get the Fighterstick as well then do so, it's streets ahead of the 3D Extreme (and I'm a real fan of the Logitech!).
