Hardware & Technical Should I swap my X52 for an X55?

Well, its that time of year again. The time of year when my wife asks me what I might want for my birthday.

I've been using an x52 with ED since Alpha, and have generally been quite happy with it. But lately, I've found myself getting a little miffed with the plasticy feel and the squeaky noises coming from the Joystick.

So back to the question, should I (would you), swap out the X52 for an X55?

If you have the money , Yes. And then you can sold the x52. It's plastic but kind of rubberised no sweating hands after 5 hours of play. I recommend it :)

Squeaking! Don't talk to me about squeaking...

I had to open my X-55 up about five times to get rid of the infernal squeaking! I've had shaft-stiction, yaw-creak, and gimbal squeak. Lube fixed the first two (see Youtube), shockingly there was glue rubbing against the gimbal, so a craft knife and more lube fixed the last one. I hear that the build quality has improved night and day on later X-55s, so I hope you have more luck than me.
