No sound with shadowplay recordings?

The last few times Ive tried to capture from Elite with shadowplay, recording the previous ten minutes or just starting manual record. Either way there is no sound with my video. Anyone had this problem?

Here's it cutting out after jut 1 minute of recording.

I did have issues with the "In-game & microphone" setting . Have you tried just "In-game" ?
I don't have the setting turned on of always recording (Shadow time) the last 5 minutes.
Other than that I can only suggest lowering (or upping) the video quality to see if something changes.
There have also been some new drivers recently released, always worth a shot.
I always do a full install of the drivers and I think that does have some audio related stuff in it.

Haven't tried that, when it bugs out now it doesn't record either despite it being set to in game and mic. I will set it to just in game and see what happens.

Had this with Afterburner after 1.1 released. Download of Klite sorted it except for a horrible white noise for first minute or so of capture.

you installed more codecs and it fixed it? Easy enough to to test.

Well it made the sound work again, except for the awful noise at the beginning of the recording, although if I remember correctly the noise only happened on the pre-record files. Sorry I can't be more specific, I don't use it as a rule but had been trying it for a while to see what it was like.

I had this and notice one of the services is not running - to fix we have to each time on loading into os is open up shadowplay - turn it off and then back on - or turn off audio then turn back on. You can also check this by right clicking your audio speaker icon bottom right and open volume mixer - this will show a shadow play audio and if the gren bars are not going up ie plaing some music track thn you have the no audio thing and have to do as i previously have noted.
hope this helps

*i have a SB zx card

Also I'm using the integrated motherboard sound. Do you have a separate sound card?
Some people in a google search say to make sure NOT to install the NVidia audio drivers,
although as I've said, I do.

Im not sure what it's using. I assumed it was using whatever was built in the GPU? My headphones are USB in the motherboard.

reinstalled Geforce, installed K lite, made sure it was recording mic and game... still it bugs out.
I can sit in a station all night and record just fine, but once I go to flying around or jumping or see another player it's like any fps freeze ruins the sound file for the entire video. I just can't record sound with shadowplay no matter what I do :( sad panda

have you set up your speaker system correctly in windows.

Make sure you don't use another setting your system can not handle, it can cause adverse effects like work one moment, and not the next. ;-)
Good luck.

I have not messed with any of that, but it records fine in any other game I play. It recorded Elite fine as well, and it stopped like in between patches not as a new one came out. I will give this a shot too... What is compatible with Elite? 7.1? Or is my headset play into this too? it's a PS Gold
