Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

The Galnet political correspondents must be dipping their pens in pure bile right now. Wonder how long it will be before war-criminal Halsey faces a vote of no confidence?

Congratulations to everyone. We have won the Jewel in the crown of Lugh.

Have to say this feels good, I genuinely can't stop grinning.

Here's some simulated fireworks for a simulation party :)

Now I'm off to buy a bottle of Bollinger to put in the fridge for when I'm on later, wish I could share it with you all :p. No doubt I'll see a fair few of you later tonight.

And then on to chase the last of the Ferderation(spit ) loving losers from OUR system.

Oh and do lot's and lot's more uncontrollable grinning :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I can't join in with the celebrations, but well done!

Hopefully in a few days the major powers will recognise the sovereign system Lugh.

I am not very good at fighting so will try and go to solo to practice that but i am going to stick with my type 6 and see what i can do to supply the markets i am sure Hartsfield will need some repairs. See you @Hartsfield @ 9pm GMT :)

Wait, didn't the Feds complete their entire objective days ago? How did the CSG still win? I've been off in Empire space working towards a clipper and left Lugh after I'd made a decent amount of money, so I haven't exactly been following what was going on.

Congratualtions Commanders

I only joined in with the fun about 10 days ago, so what it must be like for you guys who were there at the start i can only imagine :)

Hell, i might even try playing in Open later this evening and join you all at Hartsfield for a celebratory shandy or ten

Just a thought though - is it wise announcing the party like this, i mean we dont want any Federation gate crashers now do we?

Or then again, do we ;-)

After all the effort we put in, this is a glorious sight

CSG completed two trade goals, while also having an intel goal that reached tier 1. The Feds won the combat goal, but their trade goal has sat there since the start and never completed. Those Feds really had huge logistics problems ;).

Still, we shouldn't rest just yet, need to get back more influence ASAP and re-secure the system. Not to mention the Feds will obviously counter-attack at some point, unless something else distracts them!

Congratulations one and all. I won't be able to attend Hartsfield at 9 as I need to do my dad's taxi thing, but I'm going to pop on before and after I try to find some more feds to kick out of the system.

As to how we won (or at least won this battle if not the war just yet) - it's as Orfeboy said: being a coherent force fighting for the same goals at all times.

Well done Orfeboy and everyone who helped get here. I've spent my entire in-game time (bar 3 days) fighting for Lugh since a couple of weeks before launch, so I have mixed feelings that it may be over! But it's been fun!

Well done everyone!

Thank Lugh, I'm tired of war and fighting :) With the current crisis resolved I'll go back to exploring for now, and come back in a week to kick some (federation) butt :)
Has been nice getting to know some of you, and fighting (or hauling) by your Side.

Fly safe, Commanders!
