Newcomer / Intro Bind kb/mouse to slot one and Saitek X-55 to slot two?

As the subject suggests.....is it possible to bind the keyboard.mouse control profile to slot one and then bind the saitek x55 controller profile to the second slot? The reason I ask is that I am going to set up Voice Attack to work with my X-55 setup. I understand VA needs to be setup with the default kb/mouse keys in place. I know I can manually bind the KB/mouse profile to slot one and go in next to manually assign each button to the right command in slot two. Just trying to avoid the work :)

I have no practical experience with VA, but I use a mouse in combination with a Saitek X52 and haven't run into any problems having both configured for parallel use.

Thanks. I was hoping there is a way to auto populate the left side config with kb/mouse and the right side with the saitek button numbers.

The newest version of Voice Attack lets you bind joystick buttons as well as keyboard buttons.

That said, I'm using ASTRA, so it's all set up with keys (by default), and it provides an X52/keyboard default (the version I downloaded also has a prototype Rhino/X55 bind default).
