kickstarter special secret system

Any one know what is this secret system? And any idea if this system is only accessible to people that paid for it?

Accessible to all founders (who backed the game at the £5 level or more). Those who backed enough, can even start the game there.

presumably something other systems don't offer. Unique agent missions perhaps, statue to David Braben?, specialist modules for sale? who knows but looking forward to finding out

Only need to pay £5 more so i can go there asap but then il have to pay £15 more for the box as well so not really sure what to do, i might just pay the +£5 and check the box shipping off.

before you know it you,ll be playing alpha.
that's how it goes :)
welcome to the wormhole

Shinrarta Dezhra... What a badass name for a system. I remember when it was chosen (I was a lurker at the time, yet un pledged). Doesnt it have some kind of hidden meaning?

I think the meaning is 'it is one of the forbidden spells, the one sending you far far away into space'. Do you think they will have created an Hogwarts somewhere on a planet in this system? :D

as far as i heard all players can eventually get there

Here's the line from the backers app:

Kickstarter Special: Have the option to start in the founder's world with any starter ship and 4,000 CR. Note: any Kickstarter decal-carrier will be able to travel to this secret system in gameplay

cheers

That line means that all Kickstarter backers (i.e. decal-carriers) can get there, not all players. The backer decal will presumably be unavailable to buy at some point before release.

Yes that's it. And once I asked the question to know if the players who are not backers, could one day reach the world of the founder. I believe Ashley or Michaël had answered, " Perhaps, under certain conditions, but it was not discussed yet "

I believe the rule agreed was that any player can visit the founders system once they have achieved Elite status.

Maybe they have to reach Elite rank before being allowed in?

Ok. So now I'm confused. I thought only higher pledges (£150 +) were considered Founding Members. I pledged £20 in the original Kickstarter so do I have access to the Founders system or not? :S

You do have access, anyone who's backed, at any level, up to this stage has access.

Founding Members (of the Elite) is a different thing... confusingly. There was a whole thread on it here.
