Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

I didn't see any new community goals when I cashed in. But then I didn't look around after I left the station after equipping my Vulture for travel back to Mikunn. Isn't Hartsfield Market the primary controlling station? If that's so, wouldn't system authority now all be CSG aligned?

There are still a few Federation aligned stations, but from my understanding the GalNet news suggested that ongoing civil war after the Feds were pulled out would determine the future. The dot on the galaxy map is still Federation, so I'm not sure what that indicates.

Epic performance from all of the supporters of a free Lugh and worthy of celebration but I'm not counting any chickens until I see what Galnet has to say on the matter - and if ships are still needed in Lugh mine will be among them.

Enjoy your moment, all those who participated. Things could have been very different and every single bond and canister has made a genuine contribution to a noble and worthy goal. Congratulations and thank you. But don't take your eye off the ball for a moment - no-one knows quite where this is going to go now...

CSG commanders, I've been fighting against you during this war, and even before this war even started. It saddens me to see the mighty Federation underestimate the CSG. Even though I do not agree with your politics, religion or your beliefs, I must commend you on your relentless efforts. To your Generals, they are cunning as well as ruthless, their ability to unite the CSG commanders to focus on each goal was admirable.
--------
Out of game mode, congrats on your victory, well deserved, I am (angry) a little as I've got myself emotionally involved and obviously wanted to win, but I cannot take away your efforts. Well done.
--------
Oh, btw, is there anyway I can grab my ships? They are in Hartsfield Market however my CSG reputation is hostile with a bounty on my head from the CSG, so if I try to dock there I won't be alive anymore :)

To the victors go the spoils...

You could try to get CSG missions in the remaining fed stations.

I ve fought many Fed commanders in these past few weeks, and I can attest those wings meant serious business. Our respects:

Having said all that I am still not 100% sure the conflict is truly over. I am still expecting some kind of final opposing community goal. It just seems fair to me. The feds won the first combat opposing goal, and the CSG won the trading/blockading one... dont think this should give anyone yet the victory.

Just a reminder to those that are staying behind and putting Lugh together again after the fighting:

While the Civil War continues, the only way to raise the influence of CSG is through combat based actions and missions.

We need to complete the Civil War to show LFE (who no longer have the Federation Navy's support) who really owns this system.

Once they understand the situation the fall out will most likely be sickness amongst the population - so we should be ready to bring in medicines as soon as possible.

Not to mention that when the Federation government resolve their current internal struggles, the new president will most likely want to show "strong leadership" and that strength may well be aimed at Lugh...

(and I would imagine "End the War" is just what the outcome of the CG was labelled as when it was set up, it doesn't mean that we've won any more than we had won yesterday - I will be staying in and around Lugh for a few weeks yet just to make sure the people of Lugh are really safe)

Yeah I actually know that's what I'm going to have to do (feel dirty just thinking about doing favors for the CSG), but I thought I'd include it in my speech as it's a funny predicament I find myself in

Congratulations to all those who fought for CSG and Lugh.

Now that the battle is over, I guess it's time to consolidate our hold and get our rep back.

I'll be back on tonight to see what my reward was, and whether I managed to stay in the top 40 :)

The Feds were disorganised and lost 2 community goals. With the combat one, there's a Fed here saying if he went to any CZ but the capital ship one he got taken down quickly by CSG. Don't be a Federal apologetic, the CSG victory is well deserved.

I salute you Shock for your adult and mature attitude. Our players worked extremely hard. You will never know how much pressure youguys placed upon our shoulders. But we have put an enormous amount of effort into this. My family are close to forgetting my name at this point. Everyone has put in so much effort into this and I am delighted we have done so well. Whatever happens nobody can take these achievements away from these players. They truly are a shining example of what players can achieve.

I wish all the players on the opposing side had as much grace.

Thanks for your kind word.

Regarding your problem, I'm hostile toward LFE and managed to haul plenty of military intelligence @Hartsfield.
You just need to boost, boost, full shield pipe, ask docking permission and aim the letter box ^^

With all the transporting and smuggling we did, the scary part wasn't getting scanned by the cops as they couldn't give a biowaste, but the heart stopping moment when trying to exit the station when there is an anaconda / type 9 boosting into the station. eek!
