Total reformation of Combat Zone's and faction wars. - SUGGESTIONS/IDEAS

In order to make faction wars more...'war like', how about you completely go away with Combat zones and instead, the moment you go into a system, you HAVE to declare a side or suffer military interdictions from both sides forcing you to pick a side, once you pick one the faction you side with stops and beacons similar to 'wing beacons' will pop up all around in the system to declare that friendlies have been interdicted, allowing you to drop onto them to assist in fighting for your chosen faction. There should also be perhaps revamped combat zones, actually don't even call it a combat zone, call it a full on War Zone, instead of the currently semi-boring ones, have them with multiple capital ships firing at each other and also firing at CMDRs/AI pilots (not the full bulk of their fire of course) and perhaps even at the beginning of them, tons of little fighters come out of the capital ships and begin going after AI pilots/CMDRs.

Another idea; whilst in Supercruise, if a CMDR who has picked a side gets interdicted, allow the faction you're fighting for's AI to jump into your wake to assist you, but make the likelihood of them helping you depend on whether or not it was a single hostile (also vary on ships strength)or a wing of hostiles that interdicted you. This also could be made to go into a full on player made Combat Zone if you wanted to keep them. You could make it so that when you're interdicted, a friendly wing would join, then another hostile wing, then another friendly, all the way up until it turns out to be a huge mass and you fight until one side is totally abolished.

Another idea; in the case of which you're a high ranking officer in one of these factions (i.e Empire or Federation) you should be able to be granted access to dock aboard the factions capital ship whilst in a War Zone and rearm. This could be made like the stations, request authorization to dock, if you don't meet the level, request denied, if you meet or surpass it, "Access granted, welcome CMDR/*displayrank*".

Yet another idea; Instead of letting Capital ships run away (or so I've heard they do), once they hit a certain hull percent where they end up wanting to leave, make the special Warp Drive they have take along time to charge up, perhaps 10 minutes and make it alert everyone in the vicinity of this "SUPER HIGH CHARGE DETECTED" and give everyone a 10 minute chance to divert all fire and blow up a capital ship(or longer, don't know how long this would take in my described situation), this also allows for something I don't think has been allowed yet, allowing to blow up capital ships for the first time and witness the greatest explosion in E:D history!!

One more idea for the H of it; Big transport ships that jump to certain populated systems every 30 minutes/Hour that you can dock on and jump across the Galaxy in and at the same time, allow this "Transport ship" to have the Warp style drive the Capital ships do so that you get to witness head on what thats like.


These ideas are to be done in conjunction with one another, not separately as it would make little sense. These are only suggestions that I thought would be epic to fight in/see, I am also aware these sound like things out of a movie, that is because things out of a movie are usually quite epic, having it in this game would probably make it loads more intense and make "faction wars" a LOT more realistic/fun. Though not sure if everyone else would like this, I think it'd be epic.

Oh and also, if AI don't help you in the case of some overwhelming force in one of these, you could perhaps pop a beacon which could also further inspire a player made Combat zone to the death of one of the factions forces there. Maybe give it a chance meter of whether or not loads of AI will hop in based on numerous factors to assist both sides, further inspiring 'player made combat zones'.

This, all of this. Kissing ass on one side of a fight should off the other. Having the best rank in Fed should lock you out of core Empire systems by bludgeoning you with Security Force Interdictions constantly.
 
I think the game and it's war/faction system is in early development and it'll look very different in a years time. I'd like to see more diverse missions that work, coop missions and more things to do. Missions you can do with NPC wings or friend wings that involve escorts, picking up a VIP, dropping a payment to an enemy defector and maybe bringing that defector back or killing them if they take the cash but dont defect or give up intelligence. I'd like to see base assaults and defense missions too.

Conflict zones imho should be random spawns with different objectives and you join them as they spawn. So sometimes they are ship vs ship death match, other times project a capital ship or assault one. I'd like to see conflict zones in planet rings, around planets and conflict zones that aren't just in deep space.
