Trading improvement [SOLUTION]

Hello to all.

Here is some oh my suggestions about trading in game.

The main issue for me that 95% of commodity not using in regular trading at all because profit too low. It better to find good route use it to make money. There should be solution how to make trading more interesting, make some gameplay there too!

My solution is to use trading dividends, issued by the system for helping stations. The lower the price of goods and higher amount of demand - the greater value of dividends.
That make seance to cruising around galaxy, finding places to help to stations get what they need for existence.

Of course we have a mission, but their number is so small that does not affect the existence of the problem.
The amount of missions on BB should be increased also.

That's correct issue too. Black market logic also need to be changed.

Another thing which would help are long time contracts. For example you could accept a mission basically working like your personal community goal. They are in the need for food and ask you to deliver 5000t, so you need to do several trade runs to that station and get paid for it even if the commodity was low price.

You could expand this system on other branches aswell. For example they could hire a personal bounty hunter who needs to kill 150 pirates. I think this would help a lot and the basics are already there.

Oh yeah, gameplay improvements are badly needed. Maybe if there was a period set aside where suggestions for different game mechanics could be developed and tested.. just a thought.
 
Both are great ideas, I like them both. The second one is almost "done" too, we only need more time to complete the mission (144hours?) and a system that logs previous deliveries, instead of a single one.

Another idea I would like to add is this:

In systems that are desperate for something, like food, missions could be received by radio. In a similar way as we now have the "change sides" missions, where you accept one to kill a trader but as soon as you see the trader, it makes a proposition and changes your mission goals.
I would like a system where you enter the space station NFZ, and you listen to a desperate call from the station asking for something. You would have the option to carry on with the mission, or disregard it. It would add a nice reputation bump too, aside from money.
That kind of "direct" interaction would add interest and realism to the game world.

I could definitely get on board with this. Also the current large fetch missions could be tweaked so they could be doable in smaller ships for new starters with multiple trips.

Yeah and different good require, like a spread so it wont all be the same oone but say the 5000 tons may have to be 2000 grain 1000 Fruit and Veges 1000 Meat, 1000 Fish
 
Good Idea. Another example - Station give you long time contract, for many many type of goods - 50 tonn meat, 8 gold, 200 silver, etc - 20, 30 and more types in one contract. Mission time - 5-10 hours gameplay and player can several real days to do it. As a community goal, but personal. Profit from trading can be minimum, but reward for the mission - as a trading on big trading ship t7 or t9.
 
A trading overhaul is obviously a must. The suggestion made by OP is good to me. +1

I dunnu if it's good to put this in the suggestion sub-forum since dev don't seems to read it...

I really like this. A bonus award could be auto allied from any status level for completing.
