While yes... it's bringing the real world to the game which is slightly immersion-breaking. It isn't really a sales advertisement, more like simply bringing awareness to the contest. Nowhere is there a hyper link or some flashy graphic advertising the specs. This isn't as bad as some of you are making it out to be and if anything it's more beneficial to the game and it's user-base.
