Got my Orca in preparation for the 1.3 passenger update

Alioth is offering a 20% discount on Orcas, so I traded in my Clipper for one.

I think the Orca is a best ship to fly right now, unless you want to do something fancy like Pitch or Yaw.

I was also surprised that it has one huge and 2 medium weapon mounts. I thought it might not have any gun mounts.

The boost on it is awesome, its fast, but the great thing is the little ding noise it makes, like an announcement to the passengers.

Details for the 1.3 patch are bare (missing?) but its been 4 months since the game launched, I think it would be hard to believe passengers wont be added in this update.

I've certainly been getting a lot of attention from other players, I doubt any of them have killed (or seen) a player in an Orca before.

I'm not sure exactly where the cockpit is on it, I think its the bottom most black part, but you can't see into it like other ships cockpits to be sure.

I'm off to deliver some more passengers to Synteini

Is the 20% discount in Alioth a general thing/perk for Alioth, or just a one off?

I must say that I have also thought the passenger modules/missions would be released for 1.3, it certainly is about time we had some more core game elements introduced.

I like to ride the trains when I go to a city with a metro.

But seriously, I like the look of the Orca, if they can do something interesting with passengers, or something it could be interesting. Honestly I'd like some sort of larger carrier ship so we can shuffle our smaller ships around in from station to station, or a courier service.

I hope passengers are added, but I'm not basing it on any news or rumor I have heard.
I'm using it as a blockade runner at the moment, but to be honest the Clipper was better in every way except the Orca is easier to get in to dock.

Many players wont interdict you in a Clipper, I'm getting no respect for the Orca.

It's nice you avoided saying that the Orca is like a train, only goes forward and backwards, turning is too overrated for the Orca.

I didn't pay much attention, but i doubt passangers come on the next update.

There are no passanger transport ships besides the Orca, and this aingle ship costs an arm and a leg from your next 50 generations.

Adding passangers now would be like, only 1/7 of the players can try this out, the rest? Go back to making sand castles.

If it is in the next update or not nobody knows. I am sure they will release the dolphin sooner or later wich is another passenger ship but smaller (and hopefully cheaper) than the orca.

Federal Dropship is for troops/passengers.
The Dolphin, Beluga Liner and maybe something called the Imperial Liner are also planned passenger ships.

That might be 5 out of the first 25 ships.
