Does anyone know if the new storefront launch will be midnight tonight at 0000 am (GMT +0) 12/09/13?

If you mean, tonight the 8th of December, which incidentally is a Sunday, then either someone is staying up really late on the weekend, or starting really early on the Monday, or it's a scheduled task, wow this sentence has a lot of commas.
or is it Monday the 9th of December, which isn't tonight but tomorrow and at midnight. In which case, why would they stay up until midnight?
I'd expect it to arrive during the week, probably during work time (based around an 0800-1700 work day). I wouldn't be surprised if it was announced on the forums too.

I'd have thought that they would launch it during UK office hours on Monday... just in case

The Gregorian month-day-year format is typical in the USA which is where I am. Sorry for the confusion.

I think they'll keep it open overnight, update the page, test the new store, and then switchover just before start of business.
Kind of a shame, I was hoping for store change and alpha access at midnight, that way I'd get 6 hours playti - rigourous testing - ahead (but behind) of the UK lol

The new shop hasn't launched yet. And can still pledge, which I am guessing is for another few hours until Monday business day.

If you have chosen the beta tier for the gift it is Ok.
