Please don't release alpha yet

Not fully sure they will release it tomorrow, they could be - but either way I agree with Tinman that new shop could be really coming with digital distribution system (which old system didn't have in any shape or form), so I guess you alpha testers will download your goods there (envy).

Be it tomorrow, Thursday...I really don't care. ED is here. I am happy where I am.

Its like Christmas Eve on here tonight. Everyone waiting in anticipation on what will be under the tree tomorrow morning.

Will it be the new online store we were promised?, or will Santa leave us something much more interesting - like a nice surprise in the form of a big neon download link to alpha? :D

I'd think FD are probably looking at a pre-Christmas release, but not right on Christmas eve either in case there are any serious initial issues with the alpha. So some time this week, maybe early next week, and coinciding with the next update seems likely.

Mind you, I'd be delighted to be proved totally wrong and have it available in a few hours!

Actually, I am suspicious that the Alpha will indeed be available early this week...maybe even tomorrow. Having two weeks of bug-hunting before Christmas break seems reasonable to me. Releasing it next week would be terrible for FD if something major came up during testing since that would only give them one (work)week before the holidays to get on top of it.

Yeah, timewise next week is most reasonable, otherwise there's only one week left for testing in December. However, they maybe have some delays or hiccups. We'll see. But I think there will be at least KS update - about backer app and preoder shop change. Will it come with early Xmas present?

A store with a digital distribution system is a given IMO. Just take a look at this recent interview with David, if you haven't seen it. :)
