What confuses me so deeply is that so many people in this thread seem to think that "well, I'm having fun, you must not be trying hard enough" is a valid argument. Sorry, but no - your experience of having fun does not invalidate my or anyone else's experience of not having fun. Don't get me wrong - I don't resent the fact that you guys seem to be enjoying yourselves. At most I'm a little bit envious, since you guys seem to be getting your £40 worth. However, no matter how many of you are entertained, I - and, apparently, quite a lot of other people - am not. Call me entitled if you want, but I paid £40, and I'm not getting £40 worth of entertainment, a commodity that, having paid that price, I feel that I deserve.
Nope, I don't think that you're not trying hard enough. It may be that I'm easy to please.
I've bought many games that other people have said are absolutely awesome, and have had very good reviews. And after a couple of hours I've never returned to them (Sunset Overdrive was a good example of this... Pointless game
