My honest opinion? Horrible. Cluttered, overcrowded, text is too small.

Man, this was not a aesthetic design - its a functional concept. I tried to make this clear on the opening text - sorry if I failed to be clear about it.

As I said in the opening text, these was designed to another game that was inspired by Elite - Most of the design here is not even relevant / applicable to Elite. Just posted it here because there are some interesting concepts within that approach to Surface Routing and cartography (with drones).

That's the point: I'm not criticising the aesthetics (which is okay), but the functionality. You try to cram too many information on the screen at once.

Yeah, my mistake then. I might delete this thread and come back when I take the time to delete all the non-elite data (most of what you see is not even related to the concept of surface cartography). I got myself carried by the idea of presenting this "as is" to check if it was worth to adapt everything to Elite. Guess it won't work that way.
