She's a beaut!

Clippers is a nice ship - grind was worth it to be able to pilot her. But, it's quicker making dough grinding from T7 to Python to T9.

I got the clipper for the lutz. Since then, my game play went down significantly. Only got enough attention span to grind out a couple of million a week now...

Not trying to be a neganoid, but I think I see a problem here. And it makes sense in your approach to the situation and how you describe it. Too bad you had to But into someone else's accomplishment to express yourself. Way to go.

Only a couple 1,000,000 a week. Ha, poor child with the broom stick back, how does it hurt so?

Congrats on the ship, I would be most happy to take a ride in that.

Ah, noticed the discount and did the math. Then I high tailed it for Nu and traded my T7 in. Added another 2.5 mil the pot and have a nicely upgraded, armed trader.

Yes the Clipper is a beautiful ship indeed, well done to you scorpyon :) ,....although I am holding out for a Courier ;)

I really love the look of the Clipper. I'm just too addicted to my Vulture to grind for it atm. :) It's still on my bucket list though. :)

I think they look like some kind of "Space ", but some folks just love 'em.

And as Corporal Jones says..."They don't like it up em Captain Mainwaring".

Enjoy your new ship.

Sooo Did you go to Nu to pick one up (29% discount!!!), or did you pay full price? :D

I didn't take part in the community goal, so paid full price. :(
(That and the fact I didn't feel like making the massive trek over there in my Vulture, which would also mean leaving it miles from my "Homebase")

But I actually wasn't that bothered by this, as I had a lot of cash to spare. It was the rank up missions that were causing me grief.

You don't need to have participated. The discount is available to anyone. I parked my Python, bought a Clipper, drove that 'home', then flew back in a throwaway Sidewinder to retrieve my Python. Stuck a scoop on the Sidey, along with some scanners, and used it to scan any systems I hadn't yet been to while I was headed back. :D

You don't? Now it's really tempting to grab one while they are cheap... :D

Ah well!
Looks like I lost out a little there then - but that's ok.
Happy to pay full price for this beastie tbh! :D

Not from what I've seen in several other threads, no. That's a ridiculously good deal, well worth the effort to go get one, IMHO. If I hadn't already been there working on the CG, I would have flown out anyway to get in on that discount. :D

I've regretted selling mine ever since I used it to finish financing my Python. Using my Python to help finance the purchase of a replacement Clipper somehow seems fitting. And the best part is I now have both! :D

You could always head there anyway and trade your current clipper in for a cheaper one ... it would be a free 2.5 mil after all :)

Oh really? I would Have thought the trade in price would be discounted too. Can I sell my current for its original price and get the cheaper one then? If so, woot! :D

I haven't done it, but I read a thread here the other day where someone said that is exactly what they did... no harm in heading out there and seeing if it works .. I know that I did get the full price for my Asp + components at the founders world when I sold it, tried out another ship didn't like it so traded back to my asp (at the founders world) and refitted it to exactly what I had before and still had more credits than I started with in the end so I guess it will work there ... no harm in checking :)

*Edit - found the link for that thread
