just dropped into Altair, and was repeatedly interdicted by another commander....

my Asp didn't stand up to the Vulture for long, though I nearly escaped...

It would have been just a bit less irritating if there had been some message - like "hello - give me some cargo", but no, first greeting was a full volley.
Oh well, he'll never know how many rare goods he sacrificed.

The Lave cluster and Altair are perpetually plagued by pirates and murderers. You don't go there unless you know what you are doing and have a ship that can either move or fight.

As far as I am concerned, cheating at a game is far worse offense than murder within the context of that game, and combat logging does more harm to open play than even the most flagrant acts of indiscriminate killing.
