Yeah, he definitely stepped this one up a notch. It looks classy.
Agreed, best one yet, rendered background and allI like the bumper sticker, EZ. Looking like your best yet.
Take the Orca instead. It's much cheaper and hence you will have some leftover money for staff to pamper me.Excellent... I'd better start saving up for an exploration Anaconda (and the 7A fuel scoop, ehehehe)![]()

I managed to squeeze 18 LY jump out of a Viper, but i doubt that's nearly enough for this. Since i am not at all wealthy, probably gonna have to go Hauler.
My understanding is that if you follow the spiral arms in instead of trying to jump across them then range is less of an issue. Someone may have already done the Sag A run in a Viper

Besides, BBRA* is a special event. It's okay to kick it up a notch.
Someone on Twitch actually crossed the galaxy (ie went to the other side, further than just Sag A*) in a SIDEWINDER. So, it could be done even in a Sidey. The question is only "how long will it take"![]()
Seriously? BBRA*?
Methinks you might wanna change that abbreviation... might give the young'uns the wrong idea about the whole thing![]()
Ya know, if you do run BBRA* (*snicker*) in tandem with BBR8.... many vets won't be available right? I doubt many would commit 13 hours in 1 session to get there, most will be still "halfway-there" even a week or 2 into the challenge...
Well shoot, look at that! I know that guy! CaptainSodom! He was Sidey racer in Buckyball 2, engaged in a vicious back-and-forth battle with a CMDR named Hardware which looked very similar to the Alot/Gurlagg battles we've seen more recently. He also had what I believe is the first video recorded Buckyball, complete with a very well done tutorial explaining what he was doing and why along the way.
The Death Race 3300™ is a much more in-your-face affair than a Buckyball and is a live, simultaneous race to boot. None of this namby-pamby "run it again" malarky if you blow yourself up boosting out of the slot.I'd suggest anybody who is a fan of the "Wip3out" style racing give it a shot.
Ahh, this takes me back... CaptainSodom announced his race back in beta right about the same time as the first Buckyball. I thought I'd introduce myself by giving him some bumper stickers. Everybody loves bumper stickers.
Good times... Good times.
