Just click the link it will take you to a KickStarter that has coins called credits. People want model ships, I would quite like to get my hands on some coinage too. Not for everyone.

I'm 99.9% certain that CMDRs aren't carrying round hundreds of millions of coins.

I'm pretty sure in 3300AD, we would've done away with low-security unencrypted, forgeable currency types...
