Save up for the Python or Go for the Gold

What's up everyone?

Recently, I almost fully kitted out my Vulture (only need military grade bulkheads and then I'm completely done. Even then I'm not sure yet on whether or not I want to spend the 4 or so mill for 'em), and I've been thinking about my next ship.

At this point, I either go for the Python, or I go for the Conda. I was planning to get the Conda eventually, but I'm rather curious on what other people have to say, because if I go for the Conda, I'm just going to Bounty hunt until I hit Elite rank for the 10% discount. Currently, I'm Expert.

I don't know how long it'll take to get to Elite, but I believe asking on here would be a smarter choice than blindly doing one or the other.

I think clipper or fer de lance is better choice for start imo.

Anaconda required too much grinding. And you will need another 200mil CR to upgrade that ship.

I am in exactly the same position. My plan is to now start trading as I believe it's a good way to earn credits when you can haul the larger vehicles. I plan to get the type 6 and keep the vulture (may need to canabalise for funds) My vulture earns a mill an hour easy I'm not sure how a type 6 will do but at least it will be a break from farming the RES.

I saved for python in a similar situation and let me say, its lovely. However very expensive to fit and run! I just got a clipper and its bloody brilliant... I've kept the python in the garage until it can be pimped as it really needs to be upgraded to be good for anything but trading. The conda will come in time ;)
