I was going to buy it in July, but last month Game Informer did a piece on the Mad Max game coming this September and it blew ED out of the water. I like them both alot but Mad Max just made me forget about ED for a couple weeks, mainly because the way I can build and upgrade my car and those upgrades make my car perform different, so I'll have to ballance my upgradeing so I can actually controll my car(hope that doesn't change before rlease). I really hope FD can put a system like that in ED so I can make my ship better perform for my playstyle. No one is supposed to know exactly. I think its from the tears of third world countries.
I am inclined to say; not worth it, for the price Elite has less to offer than other games at the same price point.
...but then that's just me.
If you are after the VR experience, then I hear it is a must buy and well worth the price.
...but that's my friend
i think 50€ for game is too mutch and set 25% or 50% from price down sometime thank you.
I would think they'll cut the price when DLC is out so that the price with DLC is the same $60 or $60+small something. Otherwise, it would be close to $100 to get the game.ED will definitely get a price cut in the future (as every other game in existence, ever), we don't really know when though. OP, wait for a Steam sale this summer, or the first paid expansion.

agree, the game pricepoint is hilarious, tbh
If EA would sell a title so low on content for full price, there would be riots on the street.
Game should sell for 14,99.- or maybe 19,99.-
future DLC 8,99 max
You got your company names crossed. It is the EA junk that is a joke at full price. You don't like Elite, no problem. Move on.

Then not EA, fine.
Compare the budget and gigantic amount of content and depth of GTA 5 , selling at the same price, and tell me which one is overpriced. But I won´t argue with die hard defenders of this game, no point anyway arguing with "fans" supporting everything no matter what
The argument is just as valid if I turn it around: "No point arguinng with the haters down-talking everything no matter what".
GTA 5 is probably a great game, but I could not care less for it. If GTA 5 is what floats your boat, fine. Enjoy. If you don't see the content, value and fun in a space sim, that is fine a well. But why the need to express your negativity on this forum, which is mainly populated by people who generally like the game?

What you get for 60$ here is not what you usually get for 60$ .
So what? 210K playing GTAV vs 5437 playing ED. Are these two games somehow in competition with each other? Does MOAR players on Steam EQLZ WIN?
