hmmm now you got me thinking of maybe journeying back to the starter zones in a tooled up vulture just to watch the new players in the res's :D narr cbf... although it would only be abour 230 LY's

Point blank hits with both beams and both cannons, hell I did not even get the message that his shields went down just exploded!

About 15 min later I run in to him again, He tells me he is reporting me because I killed him.

Always carry some cargo.

Fantastic. Maybe it was the same sidey I found in an anarchy nav. He was pecking away at a harmless npc python that did not even have a bounty.

15 mins later he is still following this guy around. I lost patience and left never did see if he actuallyfinished him off.

Maybe thinks real cmdrs is big ships are just as easy but take a long time to kill. Fair play for demonstrating what large hardpoints do.

Oh the fun to be had with a noob in a sidey, who thinks he is a pirate. Don't think you even needed to deploy weapons to kill him, but agree taking out his drive might have been a good idea. he might have had to work out how to use his ship then.

I'm going with debug camera recording too. You lose control of your ship in debug camera mode so that may be why he stopped 400m in front of you. And it was a Sidewinder, he probably didn't want to risk his real ship.

LOL, here's one for next time ... explain that you only have three units of cargo and ask which he wants ... the tartan paint, the spirit level bubbles or the reach around :)

Sounds like a new player from/on steam. Seems we are getting a lot of new players treating Elite as a shoot-em up.
