I don't get the doom and gloom. So, a particular ship cannot have a bounty larger than 1 million with a particular minor faction? How many targets do you take down that have a single-faction bounty larger than a million? I've yet to see a single one.
 
I don't understand really, it is per minor faction, and I seriously doubt that those with high bounties have it from single minor faction? so I don't understand how this gives trouble?
 
Honestly i'd take this over the previous incarnation, though I would question what took them so long its probably the simplest and easiest fix of the many mentioned in threads here on the forums.
 
Should have been done sooner. Makes exactly zero sense for these enormous bounties to exist, as they don't further incentivize actual bounty hunters, or deter people from the acts needed to accrue such bounties in the first place.

Let me introduce you to this.

And how many of those individuals were ever likely to have their bounty claimed by anyone they didn't want to hand money over to?

The top 5 list has been nothing but an incentive for people to murder scads of NPCs and get chain fined to get their names in the paper.

The Bounty List has a lack of indicating whether the target is in open play, in a private group or even in Solo. It doesn't even tell you if the player is online or not. Personally, it needs to be entirely revamped.

A solution to this would be to unify the bounty lists and just give us a module that gives us the systems with top bounties or something of the sort.
